IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Doyle Monroe
Little
July 30, 1941 – July 25, 2022
Doyle Little of Livingston, Texas left this Earth at the age of 80 in Houston, Texas on July 25, 2022. He was born July 30, 1941 to James Robert Little of Centerville, TX and Mabel Claire Voison Little of Jewitt, TX. Doyle is survived by his wife of 45 years, Viola Little; his son Chalres Little; daughter Amy Little; grandchildren Isabella and Isaac Sarmiento; and grandson William Jacob Little. He leaves behind many nieces and nephews that he loved very much. He was a loving friend, Husband, Father, and PawPaw.
He was preceded in death by both of his parents, his son Michael Andrew Little, and his two sisters, Hazel Little Serice (Vincent) and Jamie Little Naquin Guidry (Sammy) and (C.J.), his brother Dudley Little, and his baby brother Wayne Little all of Sulphur, Louisiana.
Doyle surveyed for Brown & Root briefly in his younger years, and he eventually began working for the DuPont Laporte Plant until he retired as a machinist and pipefitter in 1999. He was a simple man, who never met a stranger, and as result he has spread an overwhelming amount of love and memories in all of the families and friends he touched throughout his career and lifetime. Doyle loved to dance when he wasn't working, and on the weekends or banked shift work days off you could probably find him in the woods deer hunting, or on the lake fishing. On holidays he usually would fire up the pit to provide the best BBQ sausage and ribs while he told a few stories to pass the time. Doyle was never one to yell, and always had the best stories even if you had to sit there with all of the patience you could muster until he got to the point. He is so missed.
