Obituary
Mr. LaGow was born June 7, 1942 in Vinton, Louisiana to parents, Homer Leroy LaGow and Donnie Esther (Ellison) LaGow, and passed away May 25, 2016 in Lufkin, Texas. During his lifetime Vern worked a variety of jobs which included a being a brick layer, Foremost Dairy, Cleclo Air Tools, Weatherford/DMC for 14 years as a NC programmer, owner and operator of Jukebox Vending from 1986 to present, and president of Vern's in Onalaska, Texas from 1996 to present. He retired after 11 years as president and a member of the board of directors for Lake Livingston Water Supply. Some of things Vern loved are hunting, fishing, cook-offs, sitting in his rocker on the porch watching the deer, otter and wood ducks, playing the slots, giving people a hard time and most especially watching and spending time with his children and grandchildren. He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his wife, Tami LaGow of Zavalla, Texas; son, Jeremiah Davis and wife DeeDee of Onalaska, Texas; son, Mark LaGow of Katy, Texas; daughter, Karen Alexander and James of LaMarque, Texas; Gwen DeJohn of Texas City, Texas; 10 grandchildren; 9 great grandchildren; siblings, Bonnie Watson of Fort Worth, Texas, Clara and Wallace Doyle of Arlington, Texas, Golda Whitworth of Grandbury, Texas, Beverly Jo and Doug Gast of Cedar Hill, Texas, and Linda Gail LaGow of Fort Worth, Texas; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
Pallbearers: Jeremiah Davis, Andy Lowrie, Cotye Lowrie, Charlie Aragon, Ed Reese, Keith Reynolds, Kris DeLaCerda, Phillip "Bo" Reynolds.
