Funeral services for Duane Louis Sauls, 90, of Onalaska, Texas, will be held Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at 11:00 a.m. at the First Baptist Church in Onalaska, Texas with Bro. Alan Bramlett officiating. Interment will follow the service at 2:30 p.m., in the Evergreen Cemetery in Coldspring, Texas. Visitation will be held from 10:00 a.m. until the service begins at 11:00 a.m. at the church.

Mr. Sauls was born December 16, 1931 in Nacogdoches, Texas to parents, Louis Franklin Sauls and Bessie Mae (Wood) Sauls, and passed away February 3, 2022 in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Greg D. Sauls; and brother, Doyle Sauls. During his life, Mr. Sauls was a member of the Humble Masonic Lodge #979 as well as a member of the First Baptist Church in Onalaska.

He is survived by his wife, Patsy Sauls of Onalaska, Texas; daughter, Patti Wisnewski of Willis, Texas; daughter-in-law, Diane Sauls of Willis, Texas; grandsons, Greg D. Sauls, Jr. and wife, Rebekah of Spring, Texas, and Tony Wisnewski of Willis, Texas; granddaughter, Leigh Ann Yeager and husband, Jason of Montgomery, Texas; great-grandchildren, Lilly Sauls, Justin Yeager, Jackson Sauls, and Audrey Yeager; and his beloved dogs, Momma Dog, Sampson, and Tuffy; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Baptist Church in Onalaska, Texas.
