Graveside services for Earl Eugene Davis, 90, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Saturday, July 22, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. in the Restland Memorial Park Cemetery in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Kevan Wood officiating.

Mr. Davis was born July 9, 1927 in Livingston, Texas to parents, J.A. Davis and Octivia (Pursewell) Davis, and passed away July 18, 2017 in Livingston, Texas. He was a member of the Livingston Volunteer Fire Department for 20 years from 1943 to 1963. During that time, he served as lieutenant, drill captain, captain, and assistant chief. In 1960, he also served the fire department as chief. He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Johnny Ray Davis.

He is survived by his wife, Marie (David) Davis of Livingston, Texas; sons and daughters-in law, Ronald and Deborah Davis of Huntingdon, Tennesse, Rick and Georganne Davis of Livingston, Texas, Reggie and Lea Davis, of Livingston, Texas; grandchildren, Cullen Davis and Anikka of Wimberley, Texas, Shara Aucoin and Brad of Marion, Texas, Magen Carpenter and Coy of Livingston, Texas, Cody Davis and Cassadi Steagall of Livingston, Texas; great grandchildren, Tatum Davis, Tristan Davis, Hannah Aucoin, Madyson Carpenter, and Easton Carpenter; along with numerous other relatives and friends.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Kindred Hospice at 210 W. Park Drive, Ste 107, Livingston, Texas 77351, or to the building fund for the First Baptist Church of Livingston, Texas.
