Funeral Services for Earl Junior Mize, age 75, of Trinity, Texas will be held at 10:00 AM, Friday, September 23, 2011 in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Onalaska, Texas with Pastor Glen Cooksey officiating and Danny Slater to assist. Interment will follow in the Magnolia Cemetery in Onalaska, Texas. Pallbearers are Clay Goodwin, Jesse Goodwin, Cody Slater, Rayne Mize, Daniel Pearson, Jeff Overstreet, Justin Mitchel, and John Corkill. Visitation is Thursday, September 22, 2011 from 5:00 PM - 10:00 PM at the Cochran Funeral Home in Onalaska, Texas.

He was born January 2,1936 in Onalaska, Texas to L. L. Mize and Lela Smith Mize and passed away on September 20, 2011 at his home in Trinity, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, L. L. Mize and Lela Smith Mize and a brother.

Earl is survived by Gladys Williamson Mize, wife, of Trinity, Texas, Frank Goodwin, son, of Splendora, Texas, Allen Goodwin, son, of Cleveland, Texas, Cathy Mosley, daughter, of Conroe, Texas, Sue Slater, daughter, of Huntsville, Texas, Robert Mize, son, of Coldsprings, Texas, Olliy May Lathen, sister, of Livingston, Texas, Floyd Mize, brother, of Livingston, Texas, Letha Faye Cox, sister, of Marshall, Arkansas, Carroll Mize, brother, of Dayton, Texas, 10 grandchildren, and 11 great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made to Odeyssey Vistacare Hospice Foundation.
