Obituary
Funeral services for Eddie Wayne Davis, 68, of Onalaska, Texas, will be held Tuesday, December 29, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Jackson Caldwell officiating. Interment will follow in the Zavalla Cemetery in Zavalla, Texas. Visitation will begin an hour prior to the service.
Mr. Davis was born in Houston, Texas on December 20, 1947, to parents, Lloyd Alonzo Davis and Ruth May (Edwards) Davis, and passed away on December 24, 2015 in Onalaska, Texas. During his life, he proudly served his country in the United States Army. He was a member of the American Legion Harold G. Davis Post #629. He was a great brother and dad. He was very well loved. He is preceded in death by his parents; and brothers, Harold Davis and Jimmy Davis
He is survived by his son, Christopher Davis of Wichita, Kansas; 3 grandchildren; brother, Lloyd Davis of Livingston, Texas; sisters, Patsy Anderson of Livingston, Texas and Lola Carr of Zavalla, Texas; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
