She died Friday, May 30, in Dogwood Trails Manor, Woodville. She was born April 10, 1918 in Poteau, Okla., the daughter of Joseph S. and Gertie Turner Price. She married Claude Ivy Tullos on Oct. 5, 1935 in Zavala. They moved to Ace, where they raised their 10 children.

She was preceded in death by her husband; parents; stepmother, Buena Price; son, Joseph ""Joe Boy"" Tullos and brothers, Howard, Joe and James Ray Price.

She is survived by her children, Bill and Carolyn Tullos of Ace, Robert ""Leon"" and Pat Tullos of Danbury, Richard and Joyce Tullos of Ace, Elnora and Gary Ragsdale of Copperas Cove, Murielene and Jerry Hatton of Warren, Linda and Melvin Henson of Livingston, Jerry and Susan Tullos of Livingston, Debra and Ronnie Wood of Livingston and Margaret and Bryant Pixley of Jasper; daughter-in-law, Sally Tullos of Kerrville; 22 grandchildren; 42 great-grandchildren and 14 great-great-grandchildren. She is also survived by brothers, Frank and Dorothy Price of Huntsville, Theodore Price of Houston and Lloyd and Karleen Price of Tulsa, Okla.; sister, Jane and Mickey Posey of College Station; sisters-in-law, Nancy Price Harrison of Livingston and Martha Price of Rialto, Calif. and numerous nieces and nephews.

Pallbearers were her grandsons, Wayne, Troy, Todd, James, Preston and Mike Tullos, Paul Henson, Greg Carr and Jeremy and Jordan Wood. Honorary pallbearers were her sons-in-law, Gary Ragsdale, Jerry Hatton, Melvin Henson, Ronnie Wood and Bryant Pixley and her daughters-in-law, Carolyn, Pat, Sally, Joyce and Susan Tullos.

Edith was a Christian and a long time member of the Livingston Church of Christ. She enjoyed traveling (at the drop of a hat), playing games, needlework, gardening and reading, but most of all she enjoyed being surrounded by her extended and extensive family. She was known as a sassy, smart and lovely lady.

Her children and descendants say they will remember her for her contributions to the world of love, loyalty, friendship, humor and closeness. They say she knew the three greatest gifts she could bestow on her family were those of faith, hope and love, but the greatest of these is love (1 Cor. 13:13). She was known as someone who instilled life values and everlasting memories, whose legacy and love will carry on as her descendants live and personify these important life lessons.

Memorial contributing may be made to Ace Community Park, P.O. Box 321, Ace, Texas 77326
