Obituary
Edmond ""David"" Johnson Sr. 73 departed this life Wednesday April 16, 2008. He was born on October 2, 1934 in Port Neches, Tx.
He is preceded in death by his mother and father Edmond and Drucielle Johnson, sister Beverly and brother Gary and a son Tony.
David served in the Marines and the Navy. His passion in life was racing and reading about history as well as cooking. Dave was famous for his knowledge of motor mechanics amongst family and friends. He has forgotten more than anyone else could learn.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his treasured wife and best friend Kay (Woolwine) Johnson, and loving children Kathy of Cut-in-Shoot, Debby and her husband of Conroe, Dee and her husband of N. Little Rock, David Jr. and his wife of Humble, Jimmy and his wife of Austin. He is also survived by his 19 grandchildren and 16 great grandchildren as well as his uncle Afred Johnson of Beaumont, along with a Nephew and Niece and numerous other relatives and friends.
A graveside memorial service was held in his honor Saturday April 25, 2008 in the Village Mills Cemetery were he was laid to rest beside his son Tony. Officiating was Rev. Tommy Williams. A celebration of Dave''s life was held at his home with family and friends attending.
