Funeral services for Edna Faye Dickens, 95, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Sunday, March 19, 2017 at 4:30 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Edwin Hendrix officiating. Interment will follow in the Midway Cemetery in the Midway Community. Visitation will be held Sunday, March 19, 2017, beginning at 3:30 until the service starts, in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mrs. Dickens was born October 16, 1921 in Idabell, Oklahoma to parents, James Calvin Gurley and Leola (Parrish) Gurley, and passed away March 14, 2017 in Livingston, Texas. She is preceded in death by her husband, R.L. Dickens; daughter, Diane Bass; parents; sisters, Lela Brown, Velma Smith, Imogene Fleming, and Anna Ukmar; brothers, Alton Gurley and Eugene Gurley.

She is survived by her son, Norman Dudley Dickens and Sherry of Livingston, Texas; son, Robert LaFleur of Midway Community; daughter, Carolyn Clark and Bob of Scottsdale, Arizona; son, John Keithley Dickens of Livingston, Texas; grandchildren, Bryan Dudley Dickens and Angie of Livingston, Texas, Kelly Dyan Dickens of Kingwood, Texas, Gary Wayne Baker of Livingston, Texas, Arrin Smith and Justin of Huffman, Texas, Neil Dickens and Jeana of Livingston, Texas, Kyle Clark of Scottsdale, Arizona, and Kari Clark of North Carolina; brothers, George Gurley and Barbara of Pearland, Texas, and Henry Gurley of Conroe, Texas; 16 great grandchildren; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
