Edward Wesley Hammersley, 89, of Woodville, Texas will be laid to rest in the Houston National Cemetery. He was born January 14, 1936, in New York, New York and passed away on September 27, 2025, in Woodville, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Joseph F. Hammersley and Mary Jane (Depp) Hammersley; and wife, Arlene Hammersley.

Mr. Hammersley is survived by his son, Thomas Edward Hammersley of Equador; son, David Joseph Hammersley of Las Cruses, New Mexico; along with other relatives and family friends.
