Memorial services for Edward Thomas Simons, 61, of Livingston, Texas will be held Sunday, November 3, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Chuck McLaurin officiating. Visitation will be held Saturday, November 2, 2024, from 5:00-8:00 p.m., at the funeral home.

Edward was born November 29, 1962 in Livingston, Texas and passed away October 29, 2024 in Livingston, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, David Louis Simons and Johnnie Juanita (Jones) Simons; brother, Mark Allen Simons; grandson, Austin Chometa; and his grandparents.

He is survived by his sons, Lonnie Edward Simons and Kristofer Roy Simons, both of Livingston, Texas; daughter, Samantha LeAnne Simons of Livingston, Texas; grandchildren, Kelly Placker and husband Kane, Alexis Martinez, Chase Bostian, Candice Simons, Lacie Simons, Cheyanne Simons, Duke Westerman, Reese Simons, and Lyla Simons; great grandchildren, Kason Placker, Emmery Bostian, and Greyson Kight; and siblings, Harold Simons and wife Terri of Livingston, Texas, Pauline Napier and husband Scott of Onalaska, Texas, Johnny Simons and wife Nancy of Livingston, Texas, Darlene Kerr and husband Darrell of Livingston, Texas, Wayne Simons and wife Tiny of Livingston, Texas; daughter-in-law, Shawna Martinez and husband Joey of Livingston, Texas; and best friend/brother, David Fults of Livingston, Texas; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
