Edwin Glenn Gay 74 of Livingston passed away Wednesday May 6, 2009 at his residence with his loving family by his side. Funeral services will be Saturday May 9, 2009 at 2:00PM in the First Baptist Church of Providence, with Rev. Michael Heuermann officiating. Burial will follow in the Holly Grove Cemetery.

Edwin was born April 28, 1935 in Camp Ruby Texas to parents Urias Gay and Vergie Little Gay. He married Bonnie Renfro Gay on October 19, 1996 in Midway. Edwin was a deacon at Harmony Baptist Church of Woodville.

He is preceded in death by his parents, wife of 37 years and mother of his children Nadine Gay.

Edwin is survived by his wife Bonnie Gay of Livingston, sons Michael Gay and wife Marilyn of Livingston, Jerry Wayne Gay Sr. and wife Beverly of Livingston, Kenneth Neal Gay and wife Terri of Livingston, Clifford Earl Carroll and wife Patricia of Livingston, and Stephen Wayne Carrroll Sr. and wife Debbie of Livingston, daughters Billie Kathrine ""Kathy"" Ford and husband Rusty of Gilmer, Patricia Jolene McKenzie and husband Phillip of Springfield, Tn, sisters Billie June Phillips and husband Arlen of Crosby, Jolene Moore and husband James of Livingston. He is also survived by his 24 grandchildren and 22 great grandchildren.

Serving as pallbearers will be Bryan Gay, Jessie Gay, Jerry Wayne Gay Jr., Roy Glenn Gay, Steven Wigley, Micah Ford, Joshua Ford, Stephen Carroll Jr.. Honorary pallbearers Olen Underwood, Bobby Lee Gay, Anthony Carroll, Michael Gay, Jerry Gay,Ashton Ford ""Rusty"", Phillip McKenzie, Kenneth Gay, Clifford Carroll, and Stephen Carroll Sr.
