Obituary for Elda Catacata Aliposa

March 25, 1938 to October 2, 2012

Elda Catacata Aliposa, age 74 of Livingston, Texas, passed away on October 2, 2012, in Conroe, Texas. She was born on March 25, 1938, in Ilo-Ilo Negrosoccidental, Philippines, to parents, Hugo Catacata and Caridad Macote Catacata. Elda married Tersito Aquirre Aliposa on January 19, 1964 in Catarman N. Samar, Philippines. She graduated from Central Philippano University College of Nursing in Ilo-Ilo Philippines in 1961, and came to the United States in 1977. Elda went back to live with her family in 1981 and returned to the United States in 1994.

She is preceded in death by her father, Hugo Catacata. Elda is survived by her husband, Tersito Aquirre Aliposa of Livingston; mother Caridad Macote Catacata; five children, Juanita Caridad Aliposa, Israel Catacata Aliposa, Sharon Joy Aliposa-Sultan, Jon Mar Catacata Aliposa and Makisol Claudette Fabra; grandchildren, Jezreel A. Flores, Adrian A. Flores, Israel Joseph G. Aliposa, Gigi G. Aliposa, Ira G. Aliposa, Eldie G. Aliposa, Ezra John A. Sultan, Eizel Jane A. Sultan, Erwin Jay A. Sultan, James Meller Villa Tuyac, Paul Joseph Villa Fabra, Matthew Villa Fabra, Claudette Villa Fabra and Xyric Isaiah Villa Fabra. All of her children and grandchildren live in the islands of Samar and Leyte, Philippines.

Funeral services will be held at 10:00 AM on Saturday, October 6, 2012, at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas. Pastor Brett Lester will conduct the service.

Visitation will be held on Friday, October 5, 2012, at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas, beginning at 5:00 PM.
