Funeral services for Elijah "Uncle Bubba" Green, 89, of Dallas, Texas, will be held Saturday, July 14, 2018 at 11:00 a.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Kurt Walker officiating. Interment will follow in the Kibbie Field Cemetery in Marston, Texas. Visitation will be held Friday, July 13, 2018, from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mr. Green was born September 25, 1928 in New Willard, Texas to parents, Ennis Green and Velma (McCormick) Green and passed away July 2, 2018 in Garland, Texas. He proudly served his country in the United States Army. He is preceded in death by his parents; grandson, Elijah Deshan Green; uncle, John McCormick; his sister; uncles, Leroy Johnson and Bob McCormick; and aunts, Elma McCormick and Elenor McCormick.

He is survived by his daughter, Sharrah Williams and husband, Duane of San Diego, California; daughter, Austorlia Alford and husband, William of Houston, Texas; son, Raymond "Burt" Barnes of Livingston, Texas; son, Marvin Dosia and wife, Tonya of Livingston, Texas; daughter, Sharon McGowen and husband, Leonard of Goodrich, Texas; daughter, Karen Phillips and husband, Floyd of Goodrich, Texas; son, Eddie Green and wife, Bobbie of Goodrich, Texas; loving niece, Laverne McCormick of Dallas, Texas; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
