Obituary
Funeral services for Elijah Rodriguez, 38, of Kinder, Louisiana, will be held Saturday, December 6, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Alabama-Coushatta Entertainment Center in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Chris Harjo officiating. Interment will follow in the Alabama-Coushatta Indian Reservation Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Friday, December 5, 2014 at 6:00 p.m. at the Alabama-Coushatta Entertainment Center in Livingston, Texas.
Mr. Rodriguez was born April 21, 1976 in Woodville, Texas to parents, Armando Rodriguez and Boni Sue (Poncho) Rodriguez, and passed away December 3, 2014 in Lafayette, Louisiana. He is preceded in death by his mother, grandfather, Norris Poncho ; grandmothers, Rebecca Thompson and Clara Mae Castillo; aunt, Jackie Thompson and uncle, Ellison Poncho.
He is survived by his son, Ian Rodriguez of Kinder, Louisiana; father, Armando Rodriguez of Livingston, Texas; sister, Tabitha Rodriguez of Livingston, Texas; brother, Ezekiel Rodriguez of Livingston, Texas; brother and sister-in-law, Issac and Mary Rodriguez of Woodville, Texas; nephew, Norrislee Seward of Nacogdoches, Texas; nephews, Kolin Seward and Calvin Seward both of Livingston, Texas; nieces, Aurora and Helen Rodriguez of Woodville, Texas; aunt, Cindy Morris of Sulphur, Louisiana; aunts, Maureen and Fay Breaux of Krotz Springs, Louisiana; uncle, Roland Thompson of Cleveland, Texas; uncle and wife, Gabriel and Bambi Castillo of Kinder, Louisiana; uncle and wife, Joe and Peggy John of Livingston, Texas; uncle and wife, Floyd and Waynne Poncho of Livingston, Texas; uncle, Leamon Poncho of Elton, Louisiana; uncle, Dalton Poncho of Livingston, Texas; uncle, Victor Thompson of Livingston, Texas; great-uncle and great-aunt, James Cody and Christine Poncho of Livingston, Texas; numerous other relatives and friends.
