Services for Elijio Morales Cruz and Amparo Monreal Cruz, of Livingston, Texas will be held Thursday, May 11, 2023, at 5:00 p.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with FR. Bartlomiej (Bart) Jasilek, SVD officiating. Visitation will be held Wednesday, May 10, 2023, from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mr. Cruz was born December 31, 1945 in Durango, Mexico, and passed away May 2, 2023 in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, Jesus and Paola Cruz; and brother, Abel Cruz.

Mrs. Cruz was born October 9, 1948 in Zacatecas, Mexico, and passed away May 5, 2023 in Corrigan, Texas. She is preceded by her parents, Felipe Monreal and Maria Gomez; husband Elijio Cruz; and sister, Isabel Aldava.

They are survived by their son and daughter-in-law, Victor and Rosa Cruz of Livingston, Texas; daughters and sons-in-law, Josephina and Oscar Pastor of Onalaska, Texas, and Delores and Carlos Orosco of Livingston, Texas; and son and daughter-in-law, Manuel and Rosario Flores of Livingston, Texas; brother, Jesus Cruz and wife Anita of Livingston, Texas; brother, Jose Cruz and wife Silvia of Livingston, Texas; sister, Lucy Reyes and husband Francisco of Mexico; brother, Matilda Cruz of Mexico; multiple grandchildren and great grandchildren; as well as numerous other relatives and friends.
