Funeral services for Ellen Christine Babcock, 83, of Livingston, Texas will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, November 15, 2017 in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Kevan Wood officiating. Interment will follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held from 5:00 – 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday, November 14, 2017 in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mrs. Babcock was born on February 23, 1934 in Hortense, Texas to parents, Elzie Burt Parrish and Linnie Gladys (Clamons) Parrish, and passed away on November 12, 2017 in Livingston, Texas. During her life, she was a graduate of the Livingston High School Class of 1951. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Thomas Gerald Babcock; and brother, Elzie Lee Parrish.

She is survived by her sons, David Babcock and wife, Becky of Livingston, Texas and Jerry Babcock and wife, Grace of Livingston, Texas; granddaughters, Jessica Babcock and Jennifer Babcock both of Livingston, Texas, and Catherine Zarate and Daniel of Prosper, Texas; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
