Memorial services for Ellen Pauline Blum, 81, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Thursday, August 9, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Steve Waldrep officiating.

Ms. Blum was born January 28, 1937 in Livingston, Texas to parents, Clifton A. Wescott and Ettie (Belcher) Wescott, and passed away August 5, 2018 in Livingston, Texas. During her life, she was a "mom" to everyone. Ellen loved her children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. She also loved being outdoors and working in her yard. In her early days, she rode dirt bikes with her son and his friends. Ellen also loved watching all sports on TV – especially the Houston Texans and the Houston Rockets. She is preceded in death by her parents; and sister, Oma Faye McBride.

She is survived by her son, Charles "Chuck" Blum and Sheila of Livingston; granddaughters, Courtney Blum and Christianna Blum both of Baytown, and Bobbie McGaha of Livingston; grandson, Kevin Kuykendall of Jones Creek; great-grandson, Ethan Aaron of Baytown; great-granddaughter, Nayeli Elizabeth Blum of Baytown; great-grandsons, Trevor McGaha and Jayden McGaha both of Livingston; and sister, Doris Rogers and Rodney of Sour Lake; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
