Funeral services for Ellen Carol Sutton, 82, of Humble, Texas will be held Monday, July 20, 2026, at 10:00 a.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas. Interment will follow at 2:30 p.m., at the Zwolle City Cemetery in Zwolle, Louisiana. Visitation will be held Monday, July 20, 2026, from 9:00 – 10:00 a.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mrs. Sutton was born August 19, 1943, in Paris, Texas and passed away July 15, 2026, in Humble, Texas. She is preceded in death by her mother, Margaret (Taylor) Dawson; stepfather, Richard Dawson; father, Barney Jenkins; husband, Arthur Sutton; daughter, Kimberly Sutton; and sister, Linda Smith.

She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Tammy and James McDowell of Humble, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Tanya and Rick Taylor; grandchildren, James McDowell II, Kristin Dean, Ryan McDowell, Landon Handley, Leila Taylor, Lily Taylor, Lucas Taylor, Sadie Dewitt, and Joshua Dixon; great grandchildren, Braylon Liston, R.J. Dean, Caiden Dean, Brynleigh Dean, Liam McDowell, and Norah Handley; and sister, Anita Touchstone; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
