Elmeta Marie Brock, age 86 of Onalaska, Texas, passed away on March 7, 2013, in Conroe, Texas. She was born on September 22, 1926 in Wilburton, Oklahoma, to parents Ben and Lovina Wheeler Newberry.

She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, Wesley Brock, sister and brother-in-law, Elfreeda and Bob Allen. Elmeta is survived by daughter, Donna Brock of Onalaska, Texas; grandson, Michael Haynes, of Angleton; grandson, Steven Haynes, of Galveston; granddaughter, Courtney Wurz and husband, Ryan, of Magnolia; great granddaughter, Madison Pryor, of Spring; great grandson, Braden Haynes, of Angleton; great grandson, Austin Wurz, of Magnolia; great grandson, Riley Wurz, of Magnolia; brother and sister-in-law, R.B. and Sandi Newberry, of Bastrop. Numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends also survive.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, March 11, 2013 at the First Baptist Church of Onalaska. Bro. Don Wilkie will be officiating the services. Interment will take place later that afternoon at 3:00 PM in the Restwood Cemetery in Lake Jackson.

Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM until service time on Monday, March 11, 2013, at the First Baptist Church of Onalaska.
