Funeral services for Elzie Lee ""E.L."" Parrish age 78 of Livingston, Texas will be held Monday November 30, 2009 at 2:00pm in the chapel of Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston with Rev. Orval Barger officiating, interment to follow in the Center Grove Cemetery. Pallbearers will be David Babcock, Jerry Babcock, Marlon Clamon, Larry Clamon, Hulon Parrish, Felder Dubose, Jr., Jim Butler, Joe McWhorter and Bubba Watson.

Military Honors provided by VFW Post #8568.

He was born September 6, 1931 in Hortense, Texas the son of Elzie Burt Parrish and Linnie Gladys Clamon Parrish and passed away in Lufkin, Texas November 26, 2009.

He was the owner of E.L. Parrish Used Cars for 56 years and a long standing member of the First Baptist Church in Livingston.

He is survived by Ronnie & Cindy Babcock, son and daughter in law of Athens, Texas, Lee & Elizabeth Parrish, son & daughter in law of Livingston, Pam & James McCain, daughter & son in law of Lufkin, Texas, Lindsey Parrish, daughter of Livingston, grandchildren are, Lauren McCain, Owen Babcock, Ashley Parrish, Katelyn Parrish and Balistir McCain and sister Christine Babcock, of Livingston.
