Services for Elzie "Lee" Parrish, Jr., 53, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Saturday, February 17, 2024, at 2:00 p.m., at the First Baptist Church in Livingston, Texas. Interment will follow at the Center Grove Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Friday, February 16, 2024, from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Onalaska, Texas.

Lee was born September 30, 1970 in Lufkin, Texas and passed away February 10, 2024 in Livingston, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, Elzie Lee Parrish, Sr. and Charleen (Gale) Parrish; and daughter, Ashley Parrish.

Lee served as Assistant Chief and Fire Chief for 11 years with the Holiday Lake Estates Volunteer Fire Department. He was also a Texas A&M certified fire school instructor. He graduated from the Police Academy November 8, 2004 and received his Master's Peace Officer August 19, 2019. He also served the City of Onalaska for 16 1/2 years.

He is survived by his wife, Misty Parrish; daughter, Kaitlyn Parrish; son, Hunter Parrish; daughter, Tiffany Spears; brother, Ronnie Babcock and wife Cindy; sisters, Pam McCain and husband, James, and Lindsey Phillips and husband Jacob; mother-in-law, Marty Lewis; nephews, Owen Babcock and wife Annie, and Balistir McCain; niece, Abby Parrish; and nephew, Jaxson Phillips; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
