Memorial services for Emma Jo Carr, 83, of Crosby, Texas, will be held Saturday, February 8, 2014, at 10:00 a.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Matthew Ellis and Bro. Daniel Ellis officiating. A private graveside service was held Friday, February 7, 2014 at 2:00 p.m. in the Nettles Cemetery in Livingston, Texas.

Mrs. Carr was born on May 19, 1930 in Livingston, Texas and passed away on February 5, 2014 in Kingwood, Texas. She was a homemaker and church secretary for First Baptist Church Channelview where she was also a member. She is preceded in death by her mother, Iris Lee Nettles; husband, Berlin Carr; son, Stephen Carr.

She is survived by her daughter, Twyla Ellis of Crosby, Texas; grandchildren, Christopher Carr, Daniel Ellis, Matthew Ellis, Benjamin Ellis; great grandchildren, Aubrey, River, Emily, Lily, Laurel, Madilyn Grace; sister, Mary Widner of Channelview, Texas; and numerous other relatives and friends.
