Graveside Services for Emma Smith Kerr, age 94, of Lindale, TX will be held at 10:30 AM on Tuesday, January 17, 2012 at Magnolia Cemetery in Onalaska, TX. Rev. Dale Snell will conduct the services. Visitation will begin at 5:00 PM on Monday, January 16, 2012 at Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston.

Mrs. Kerr was born on September 9, 1917 in Wortham, TX to parents, Wade H. Smith and Mary Frances ""Minnie"" Brandon Smith. She passed away on January 13, 2012 in Tyler, TX. Mrs. Kerr was a member of Onalaska United Methodist Church and former member of First United Methodist Church of Mexia; and graduate of Mary Hardin Baylor with a Business Degree.

Mrs. Kerr is preceded in death by her parents, Wade and Minnie Brandon Smith; husband, Thurman Kerr; sisters, Minnie Ruth Smith and Edna Fuller. She is survived by two daughters, Barbara Brooks of Coldspring, TX and Camille Reed of Van, TX; two grandchildren, Robin Reed and Kevin Reed; three great grandchildren, Jackson Wade Reed, Sadie Elizabeth Reed and Annabelle Grace Reed.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to American Cancer Society.
