Memorial services for Emma Lawson, 74, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Saturday, October 31, 2015 at 10:00 a.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas with Bro. John Taylor officiating.
Mrs. Lawson was born April 7, 1941 in Brenham, Texas to parents, Willie J. Sims and Ella (Green) Sims and passed away October 13, 2015 in Livingston, Texas. During her life, she was a member of the First United Methodist Church in Goodrich. She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Everette Lawson; and brother, Sonny Sims.
She is survived by her nephew, Allen Hall and wife, LaJeanne of Rye, Texas; niece, Melissa Grimes and husband, John of Huntsville, Texas; nephew, Tommy Davis of Livingston, Texas; nephew, George Davis and wife, Kathy of Gonzales, Texas; nephew, Ron Davis of La Marque, Texas; nephew, Rex Owens and wife, Sharon of Houston, Texas; niece, Shirley Shaw and husband, Bob of Friendswood, Texas; niece, Norma Breeland and husband, Tommy of Dickinson, Texas; niece, Judy Keithly Neal of Hitchcock, Texas; nephew, Bruce Keithly and wife, Kathleen of Hitchcock, Texas; great-nieces and nephews, Adam Hall, Bobby Hall, Charlsie Hall, Meggin Elstner, Robin Durrett, Savannah Grace; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
