Funeral Services for Essie Mae Bandy, age 89, of Waco, formerly of Livingston will be held Saturday, February 11, 2012 at 2:00 P.M., Graveside at the Restland Memorial Garden section of the Restland Memorial Park Cemetery in Livingston with Rev. Keven Wood officiating. Interment will follow services. Visitation will be held Friday, February 10, 2012 at the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston from 5:00 P.M. - 8:00 P.M.
She was born on April 6, 1922 in Midway, Texas to her Parents, William Henry Harrison and Ruby (Davis) Harrison and passed away on February 6, 2012 in Waco.
Essie is preceded in death by her Parents, William Henry Harrison and Ruby (Davis) Harrison; and Husband, Ray Edward Bandy.
She was a former Leader of the Livingston Chapter of the Girl Scouts. She was a member of the Livingston Volunteer Fire Department Auxiliary and attended the Friendship Sunday School regularly. She later moved to Waco in 2005.
Essie is survived by her Daughter, Suzan and husband, William Woody of Lorena; Grandson, Bill Woody and wife, Amy of Hillsbobo; Grandson, John David Woody and wife, Cindy of Blooming Grove; Great Grandchildren, J.D., Tom, Lauren, Lyndsey, Will and Carson. Several Nephews, Nieces, and Cousins also survive.
