Funeral services for Esther Marie "Ree" Lewis, 90, of Tomball, Texas, will be held at 2:00 PM, Saturday, March 1, 2014 at Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Wayne Bickley and Rev. Wayne Wood officiating. Interment will follow at Holly Grove Cemetery in Segno, Texas. Visitation will be at 5:00 PM, Friday, February 28, 2014 at Cochran Funeral Home.

Mrs. Lewis was born on October 23, 1923 in Hortense, Texas and passed away on February 25, 2014 in Tomball, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, Governor and Katy (Massey) Treadway; husband, A.C. "Big Daddy" Lewis; sister, Doris Terry; brother, Weldon Driscoll; grandchildren, Laura Hubspeth and Heath Cassel.
She is survived by her daughters, Mary K. Cassel and husband, Melvin of Onalaska, Texas and Barbara "Bobbie" Benedict and husband, Mel of Magnolia, Texas; brothers, Guy Treadway and wife, Mae of Diboll, Texas and G.B. Treadway and wife, Joy of Diboll, Texas; sister, Jean Scott and husband Bill, of Jackson, Tennessee; grandchildren, Kim Johannesen, Brandon Cassel, Jennifer Hubspeth; great-grandchildren, Colton, Paul, Stacey, Trenton, Aleesa, Logan, and Jayson; great-great-grandchildren, Grayson and Bryson; along with a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, friends, and her church family at Soda Baptist Church.

Mrs. Lewis will be escorted to her grave by pallbearers, Mel Benedict, Melvin Cassel, Thomas Smith, Bryan Treadway, Kerry Treadway, and Brian Newton.
