Funeral services for Eva Dell Hendrix age 88 of Big Sandy were held Friday June 27, 2008 at 2:00pm at the Big Sandy Community Church in Big Sandy with Rev. Rex Hendrix and Rev. Mithell Murphy officiating interment followed in the Big Sandy Cemetery. Pallbearers wereGary Hendrix, Lynn Hendrix, L.Z. Junior Hendrix, Bill Hendrix, Shirald Hendrix, George Harrell, Greg Duff, and Denton Maze.

Mrs. Hendrix was born May 18, 1920 in Segno Texas the daughter of George A. & Lenora Williams Harrell.

She is survived by R.D. & Rebecca Hendrix, son & daughter in law of Livingston, Linda & Terry Kahler, daughter and son in law of Livingston, Helen Cox, sister, of Livingston, James & Carrie Hendrix, grandson & wife of Livingston, Paula & Joe Lenox, Jr., granddaughter & husband of Livingston, Elizabeth Jones, granddaughter of Livingston. Great Grandchildren, Kevin & Laua Lenox, Anthony Kahler, Holly Lenox, Michele Jones, Hope Lenox, Carol Tanton, Haley Lenox, Heidi Lenox, Walter Tanton, Koy Lenox, Brianna Hendrix, Elijah Tanton, and numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives.

She was preceded in death by her husband Dolphus Hendrix, sisters, Loyce Woods, Jennie Walker, Chennie Kay, Willie Kelly, Dovie Hickman, brothers, Henry McCormich Sam Harrell, Alton Harrell, Robert Harrell and Carry Harrell.
