Funeral services for Evelyn Lorraine Brooks, 77, of Cleveland, Texas, will be held Thursday, November 7, 2013 at 10:30 a.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Richard Gray officiating. Interment will follow in the Peebles Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held Wednesday, November 6, 2013 beginning at 5:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mrs. Brooks was born December 16, 1935 in Clarke, Texas and passed away Monday, November 4, 2013 in Cleveland, Texas. She was a housewife all her life. She is preceded in death by her parents: Harvey Henry Johnson and Biddie (Morgan) Johnson; husband: Terry Winslow Brooks; and son-in-law: Caleb Larsen.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law: Terry and Mary Brooks; daughter: Linda Larsen; daughters and sons-in-law: Sheila and Eugene Hinson, Biddie and Joe Butler, Tina and Ronnie Fry; son and daughter-in-law: Douglas and Evelyn Brooks; brother and sister-in-law: Rev. Edward H. and Johnnie Johnson; 19 grandchildren; 41 great grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
