Funeral services for Evelyn Lula Brown age 82 of Onalaska, Texas will be held Tuesday September 21, 2010 at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas with Robert Raif officiating. Interment to follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Livingston. Pallbearers will be Russell Martinez, Mitchell Box, Jr., Jonathan Box, Stuart Wofford, James McCord, Joseph McCord, John El McCord and Justin McCord.

She was born November 2, 1927 in St. Paul, Texas the daughter of Herman M. Striedel and Lula A. Torno Striedel and passed away September 17, 2010 at her home in Onalaska. She is preceded in death by her husband James Brown and her son Ronald Box.

She is survived by Mitchell & Alice Box, son and daughter in law of Beeville, Texas, Russell Martinez, grandson, Mitchell Box, Jr., grandson, Jonathan Box, grandson and H.E. & Lina Striedel, brother & sister in law.
