Obituary

Funeral services for Fayelene Haynes, 92, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Friday, September 10, 2021 at10:00 a.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Steve Woody officiating. Interment will follow in the Peebles Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitations will be held Thursday, September 9, 2021 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home.

Fayelene was born November 21, 1929 in Segno, Texas to parents, Wiley Graham Kersh and Katie (Collins) Kersh, and passed away September 4, 2021 in Livingston, Texas. She is predeceased by her parents Wiley Graham Kersh and Katie (Collins) Kersh; the love of her life, husband of 70 years B. R. Haynes; infant son, Jerry Don Haynes; son, Jimmy Haynes; daughter, Janice Haynes; and brothers, Earl Kersh and Charles Kersh.

She is survived by her sons, Joe Haynes and wife Nancy, John Haynes and wife Londa, David Haynes and wife Lisa, all of Livingston; daughter-in-law, Debbie Haynes of Loveland, CO;  grandchildren: Judy Stewart of Orlando, FL; Sarah Campbell of Loveland, CO (Dustin [Abby], Riley & Carley), April Wunderlick and husband Joe of Dallas (Jack & Luke), Matthew Haynes of Loveland, CO (Mason), Lauren Fraga and husband Kenny of Porter (Wyatt, Katie & Campbell), Joseph Haynes and wife Stacy of The Woodlands (Wilder), Andrew Haynes and wife Amanda of Livingston (Aiden & Allie), Zachary Haynes and wife Katy of Livingston (Madison & Braxton), Ethan Haynes & wife Whitney of Livingston (Graham & Carter Kate), Austin Haynes and wife Brenda of Livingston (Ian), Kelsey Travis and husband Colin of Humble, Ryan Vick of Morgantown, WV, Brooke Koop and husband Jack of Houston, Kyle Haynes of Livingston, Blake Haynes of Oxford, MS, Jacob Haynes of Livingston, and Lilly Haynes of Livingston; brother, Lloyd James Kersh and wife Betty; niece, Dawn Nelson; nephews, James, and Jeffery; and the newest member of the crew great-great granddaughter, Willow Jean, daughter of Dustin & Abby; sister-in-law, Francis McAlister of Liberty; niece, Martha Black and Glenn of Cedar Creek; niece, Cathy McAlister and Kathleen of Houston; and niece, Susan Haynes of Crockett; along with numerous other family and friends.

The family would like to offer special thanks to Debra Wright and her sisters Betty, Gracie, and Rose, for their care of Fayelene during her final months.
