Flora Mae Thomas 89 of Livingston passed away Sunday August 17, 2008 in the Timberwood Nursing Home. A memorial service will be held in her honor Saturday August 23, 2008 at 11:00AM in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, with Rev. James Frazier and Dr. Don Willis officiating. She was born October 10, 1918 in Pittsburg, Pa., to parents Samuel and Elizabeth Reed McAteer. Her parents precede her in death along with her husband Dr. Bruce Thomas. Flora is survived by her sister Elinor Edenfield and husband Henry of Livingston, nieces Laura Brown and husband Jerry, Karen Bock, and nephew John Poxon and wife Ellen. She is also survived by her great niece Jennifer Brown and great nephews Jeffrey Brown, John Bock, Michael Poxon and Brandon Poxon. Cochran Funeral Home was in charge of all arrangements.
