Funeral services for Florene Murphy Burrows of Livingston, Texas will be held at 2:00 P.M. on Monday, February 10, 2014 at Soda Baptist Church in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Bill Jackson and Chuck McLaurin officiating. Interment will follow at Camp Ruby Cemetery with Bro. Mitchell Murphy officiating.

Florene was born on February 4, 1921 in Livingston, Texas and passed away on February 7, 2014 at Pine Ridge Health Care in Livingston. She is preceded in death by her husband, James Benjamin Burrows; son, James Walter Burrows; parents, Walter and Turner Murphy; sisters, Helen Murphy Mitchell, Rebecca Murphy Wyatt, Ione Murphy Bernard, Lillian Murphy O'Quinn; and brother, Frank Murphy.

She is survived by sons, Frank Curtis Burrows and Dan Floyd Burrows of Livingston; daughter, LaNeigh Burrows Harkness, of Livingston; daughter-in-law, Linda Burrows of Round Rock; grandchildren, Sherman Burrows and wife, Shari of Austin, Volney Griffin and Shawn Griffin of Livingston, Joshua Burrows and wife Sunny of Livingston, Kelsey Burrows of Livingston, step-grandchildren Keith Howard and wife Kara of Livingston, and Kent Medford and wife Danita of Austin; great-grandchildren, Cameron and Kiley Burrows of Austin, Hayden and Kathryn Griffin of Livingston, Joshua James Burrows of Livingston, Chloe and Curtis Findley of Livingston; step-great-grandchildren, Kyndall, Keagan and Kannon Howard of Livingston, Dylan and Dalton Medford of Austin.

Florene is also survived by one brother, Dan Burrows and wife, Nancy of Livingston; two sisters, Alma Cude of Livingston and Joyce Jones and husband, Herman of Spring; along with numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Florene will be escorted to her grave by pallbearers, Marshall Murphy, Frank Norman Murphy, Jerry Murphy, David Murphy, Danny Murphy and Mark Barrett. Honorary pallbearers are Paul Bernard, Clyde Payne, Dennis Jones, Bro Lolo, Mike Murphy and Johnny Barrett.
