Graveside services for Floyd Kirby Mead, 75, of Winnsboro, Texas will be held Saturday, September 29, 2018 at 1:00 p.m. in the Farley Chapel Cemetery in Shepherd, Texas with Bro. Omar Jaimes officiating.

Mr. Mead was born on October 14, 1942 in Pasadena, Texas to parents, Raymond Franklin Mead and Helen Corraine (Guinn) Mead, and passed away September 26, 2018 in Tyler, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Raymond Allen Mead and James Mead; sisters, D'Ann Davis and Janith Means; and grandson, Joshua Caleb Davis.

He is survived by his wife, Shirley Mead of Winnsboro, Texas; daughter, Brandi K. Mead Pryor and husband, Paul; son, Scott A. Mead and wife, Heather; son, Floyd Mead; daughter, Amber J. Davis; son, Justin Davis; 10 grandchildren; and 3 great-grandchildren; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
