Funeral services for Floyd Leon Reed, 88, of Onalaska, Texas, will be held Tuesday, July 13, 2021 at 2:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Mickey Fountain officiating. Visitation will be held Monday, July 12, 2021 from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas. Interment will be held Wednesday, July 14, 2021, at 2:15 p.m., in the Dallas-Fort Worth National Cemetery in Dallas, Texas with Honors.

Mr. Reed was born October 4, 1932 in Paducah North, Texas to parents, Calvin Reed and Ollie (Gunn) Reed, and passed away July 4, 2021 in Huntsville, Texas. He proudly served his country and also retired from the United States Army. He is preceded in death by his parents; and sisters, Mary King and Ruby Catlett.

He is survived by his wife, Katherine Reed of Onalaska, Texas; son, Floyd L. Reed Jr. of Russia; daughter, Penny Scaramouche and Michael of Pennsylvania; son, David Reed of Colorado; son, Michael Reed and wife, Ronda of Springtown, Texas; son, Robert Chandler and Marie of Glen Heights, Texas; son, Garry Chandler and Annie of Frost, Texas; son, Rickey Chandler of Euliss, Texas; daughter, Cathy Jones of Mansfield, Texas; granddaughters, Diana Scaramouche and Rachael Reed; brother, Jimmy Reed and Karen of Arizona; brother, Larry Reed and Linda of Fort Worth, Texas; and sister, Oleta Pierce of Springtown, Texas; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
