Mr. Richardson was born on October 16, 1920 in Cleveland, Texas and passed away on May 12, 2014 in Livingston, Texas. He served his country as a Master Sergeant in the U.S. Air Force from 1941-1945, with 4 years and 7 months of active duty and later retired on October 16, 1980, after serving 25 years in the Air Force Reserve. He also worked for the Texas Highway Department and was a member of the Livingston Fire Department. He is preceded in death by his parents, Arthur Ray Richardson, Sr. and Maggie (Williamson) Richardson; wife, Jerrye Richardson; and son, Forrest H. Richardson, Jr.
He is survived by his sister, Zelda Wells of Montgomery, Texas; son, Ronald L. Richardson of Woodburn, Iowa; niece, Ginger Ash of Montgomery, Texas; nephews, Ernest Richardson of Lindale, Texas, Marion Richardson of Amarillo, Texas, Gary Richardson of Wylie, Texas, and Michael Daigle of Montgomery, Texas; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
Mr. Richardson will be escorted to his grave by pallbearers, Jack Tyler, Mike Dominy, Greg Ogletree, Marion Richardson, Ernest Ray Richardson, and Gary Richardson.
The family would like to give a special appreciation to his caregivers, Rose Handley, Home Instead Senior Care, and Girling Hospice.
