Frances Ann Ellis, age 68, passed away on Friday July 9, 2021. Mrs. Ellis was a resident of Livingston, Texas at the time of her passing. She was married to Thomas Chris Currie who preceded her in death on October 2, 2013.

Graveside Visitation will begin on Saturday July 17, 2021 at Oates Cemetery in Leggett Texas at 1:00 pm. Graveside funeral service will begin at 2:00 pm. Burial will be in the Oates Cemetery.

Frances was born in Lufkin, Texas on May 9, 1953 to parents, Charlie Johnson and Myrtie Johnson. She is preceded in death by her father, Charlie Johnson and mother, Myrtie Johnson; brothers, Freddie Johnson, Donnie Joseph Johnson; and sister, Clarsie Tips.

Frances is survived by brothers, D.C. Johnson, J.D. Johnson, Emery Johnson and Ronney L. Johnson; sisters, Charlene Renfro and Lacy Isham; daughter, Frances Marie Christoph; son, Thomas Jason Currie; five grandchildren, Delia, Aniecea, Shelby, Taylor and Briann; and nine great-grandchildren, Brooks, Peyton, Mavvrick, Wesely, Vivianne, Gavin, Belle, Cash and Grayson; and numerous other family and friends.

Frances was beloved and cherished by all. She was kind and caring to all those she met and left them with a light only she could create.  Contagious in her generous nature, Frances was also a vibrant woman whom loved to glitter and shine. Some of her favorite things were to shop for the most beautiful jewelry, cook but nothing was more important than spending time with her family and friends. Frances will be deeply missed, consistent in memory and revered in prayer. May her arrival into Heaven and into Jesus arms be joyous and peaceful. Welcome home.
