Funeral services for Frances Inez Pixley, 90, of Goodrich, Texas will be held at 2:00 PM, Monday, March 31, 2014 at First Baptist Church of Goodrich with Bro. Tom Owens officiating. Interment will follow at Peebles Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will be held at 5:00 PM, Sunday, March 30, 2014 at Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mrs. Pixley was born on November 15, 1923 in Goodrich, Texas and passed away on March 29, 2014 in Goodrich, Texas. She married Edwin R. Pixley on June 6, 1942 in Livingston, Texas and was a housewife the majority of her life. She was very involved in First Baptist Church of Goodrich as well. She is preceded in death by her parents, Jesse and Emmie (Cox) Emanuel; husband, Edwin R. Pixley, who passed away September 26, 1988; son, Robert "Bobby" Pixley; sister, Effie Ellis; and brother, Jesse Herman Emanuel.

She is survived by her son and daughter-in-law, James E. Pixley, Sr. and Yvonne of Goodrich, Texas; daughter-in-law, Carol Ann Pixley of Goodrich, Texas; brother-in-law, Bill Ellis of The Highlands, Texas; grandson and wife, James Pixley Jr. and Kathy of Goodrich, Texas; granddaughter, Malinda Pixley of Goodrich, Texas; grandson and wife, Rex Pixley and Judy of Savannah, Georgia; grandson and wife, Robert Pixley and Leta of Goodrich, Texas; great-grandchildren, Lauren Pixley and Justin, Chase White, Michael Pixley and Hannah, Matthew Pixley, Zane Pixley-Hill, Colter Pixley, Kory Gardner and Jordan, Ashley Seago, Carson Seago, Kimball Pixley, and Carter Pixley; great-great-grandchildren, Halle Galloway, Cheslynn Seago, Kash Gardner, Kade Clifton, and Ryder Pixley; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
