Mr. Burton was born December 30, 1935 in Jacksonville, Texas to parents, Frank Albert Burton, Sr. and Mary (Gaddis) Burton Stewart, and passed away November 29, 2015 in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; step-father, Travis Stewart; brothers, Michael Ray Stewart and James W. "Sonny" Burton.
He is survived by his son, James A. Burton and wife, Edwiges of Dayton, Texas, Joe F. Burton and wife, Tawanna of Spring, Texas; grandchildren, Jaime L. Burton, Elizabeth E. Burton, Wendy Burton, Keith Burton, and Caitlynn Burton; numerous great-grandchildren; sisters, Peggy Burton-Hogue of Houston, Texas, Mary Anne Gunnin of Richardson, Texas and Barbara Brockway of Terrell, Texas; brothers, Travis J. Stewart, Jr. of Tyler, Texas and Robert James Stewart of Jacksonville, Texas; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
