Funeral services for Frank Marcus, 81, of Onalaska, Texas, will be held Thursday, August 21, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. in the First United Pentecostal Church in Livingston, Texas with Rev. Gerald Morris officiating. Interment will follow in the Mitchell Cemetery in Anacoco, Louisiana beginning at 4:00 p.m. Visitation will be held Wednesday, August 20, 2014 from 5:00 – 8:00 p.m. in Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.
Mr. Marcus was born December 26, 1932 in Anacoco, Louisiana to parents, Francis Monroe Marcus and Addie Leola (Snell) Marcus, and passed away August 16, 2014 in Livingston, Texas. He proudly served his country in the United States Air Force during the Korean Conflict. He is preceded in death by his parents; and brother, Rev. Lonnie Marcus.
He is survived by his wife, Doris Marcus of Onalaska, Texas; daughter and son-in-law, Robbie and George Cox of Snellville, Georgia; son and daughter-in-law, Mike and Linda Marcus of Springfield, Mississippi; sister, Anna Dowden of Houma, Louisiana; grandchildren, Rodney Beaubouef, Rachel Harrison, Brian Cox, Cory Cox, and Destiny Marcus; great grandchildren, Branden Harrison, Morgan Harrison, and Bonham Beaubouef; and numerous other relatives and friends.
