Funeral services for Frank Tannie Mazzola, 79, of Dayton, Texas, will be held Sunday, December 2, 2018 at 3:00 p.m. at the First Assembly of God Church in Dayton, Texas with Rev. Rich Cope officiating. Visitation will begin at 2:00 P.M. until service time on Sunday at the First Assembly of God Church in Dayton, Texas.

Mr. Mazzola was born on February 9, 1939 in Houston, Texas to parents, Tannie Frank and Antoinette (Butera) Mazzola and passed away November 30, 2018 in Dayton, Texas. Frank graduated from St. Thomas High School and attended the University of Houston. He worked for the Montalbano Lumber Company for 35 years from 1980 – 2015 as the paint and hardware store manager. Frank was a dedicated member of the First Assembly of God Church which he loved dearly. He was also an avid sports fan of all the Houston teams and attended many games. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Elaine (Matthews) Mazzola and his son, Randy Matthews.

He is survived by his daughter, Gai-Lynn Mazzola Sudduth; son, Dean Mazzola and Kristy; daughter, Timber Nettles and Mike; daughter-in-law, Toni Matthews; sister, Frances Descant and Doug; grandchildren, Lynette Matthews and Jeremy Benoit, Tonya Matthews Commiato, Joey and Kat Mazzola, Ryan and Victoria Matthews, Craig and Kayla Nettles, Christopher Mazzola, Derek Matthews, Kevin Nettles, Michael Sudduth, Scotty Sudduth, Vincent Mazzola, Madelyn Mazzola, Nicholas Mazzola and Nina Mazzola; great-grandchildren, Keirra Crocker, Christiana Matthews, Shaun Crocker, Alexandria Elaine Savage, Caden Crocker, Seth Savage, Kade and Emma Nettles; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
