Obituary

Frank Murphy, age 85, passed away on December 26, 2013, at his residence in Livingston, Texas. His services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on December 31, 2013 at the Central Baptist Church in Livingston, with Pastor Mike Meadows presiding. Pallbearers will be James Murphy, Jesse Murphy, Robert Ryan Peters, Stetson Kincheloe, Wesley Johnson, Jean D. Carlisle; Honorary Pallbearers will be Deacons of Central Baptist Church, Howard Jarvis, Jeremy Richardson, Melvin Joice and Fred Smith. Interment will be at Camp Ruby Cemetery. Military honors will be provided by VFW Post #8568. Visitation will be held at 5:00 p.m. on December 30, 2013, in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel, in Livingston.

Frank was born on September 11, 1928, in Dayton, Texas to parents, Walter Willis and Turner (Stutts) Murphy. He served in the United States Marine Corp from March 26, 1952 until being honorably discharged on March 15, 1954. He married his loving wife of 40 years, Heidi Murphy on November 15, 1973. He is preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Turner Murphy; and four sisters: Ione Barnard, Helen Mitchell, Rebecca Wyatt and Lillian O'Quinn.

Frank is survived by Heidi Murphy, his loving wife of Livingston; Rodney Barclay, son of Crockett; Marshall and Joanna Murphy, son and daughter-in-law of Spurger; Frank Norman Murphy, son of Livingston; Jerry Lynn and Dana Murphy, son and daughter-in-law of Livingston; Phillip Kincheloe, son of Snyder; Sara and Bobby Peters, daughter and son-in-law of Livingston; Grandsons: James Murphy, Jesse Murphy, Robert Ryan Peters, Stetson Kincheloe, Thomas Barclay and Steven Barclay; Granddaughters: Paula Siekas and Tim, Jennifer Murphy, Vicky Hanes and Evan, Pamela Murphy and Greg Meanse, Lauren Murphy, Jana Murphy, Jordan Murphy Laird, Josie Chapman and Kyle, Lori Davis, and Carrie Rawls; Great Grandchildren: Gavin Gaston, Tucker Kincheloe, Kamerin Frankins, Marcus Frankins, Raylee Gaston, Lexis Green, Rebecca Kincheloe, Maddie Kincheloe, Kaselyn Laird, Cali Davis and Jaci Davis; Honorary Grandchildren: Christie Oswalt and Mattie and Colt; Dan and Nancy Murphy, brother and sister-in-law of Livingston; Alma Cude, sister of Livingston; Florene Burrows, sister of Livingston; Joyce and Herman Jones, sister and brother-in-law of Spring; along with numerous nieces, nephews and a host of friends.
