Memorial services for Frank Mitchell Nail, 78, of Onalaska, Texas, will be held Wednesday, July 29, 2015 beginning at 7:00 P.M. at the First Presbyterian Church in Livingston, Texas with Pastor Galen "Joe" MacDonald officiating.
Mr. Nail was born on July 28, 1936 in Hillsboro, Texas to parents, Pascal Nail and Mable (Mitchell) Nail and passed away on July 24, 2015 in Conroe, Texas. From 1954-1958 he was a member of the Aggie Band and the Aggie Corp. of Cadets. He graduated from Texas A&M in 1958. During his life, Frank served in the US Army from which he retired. He was a member of the Masonic Memorial Lodge #1298 A.F. & A. M.; the Arabia Shrine Temple; and an Elder at the First Presbyterian Church of Livingston. He was also a 32 Degree Scottish Rite Houston Orient. He is preceded in death by his parents; and first wife, Sherry "Kelly" Nail.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn Nail of Onalaska, Texas; daughters, Kelly Koenigs and Tom of Sergeant Bluff, Iowa, and Laura Majure and Jim of Des Moines, Iowa; son, John Nail and D'Lorin of Canton, Texas; stepdaughters, Marni Perdue and Scott of Katy, Texas, Sondra Pentecost of Katy, Texas, Robyn Hay and Mark of Katy, Texas, and Jill Lemasters and Geoff of Orlando, Florida; stepsons, Brad Pentecost of Austin, Texas and Doug Keller of Manteca, California; grandchildren, Michael Koenigs, Katie King, Anne Majure, Mitchell Majure, Mollie Nail, Reagan Nail, Haley Perdue, Brooke Pentecost, Connor Hay, Braden Hay, Nolen Hay, Megan Lemasters, and Emily Lemasters; brother, Gerald Nail and Lou of Citrus, Florida; along with numerous other family members and friends.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Shriner's Hospital.
