Frankie Mae Byrd Key Lamb 83, of Livingston passed way Monday February 23, 2009 at her residence. Funeral services will be 1:00PM Friday February 27, 2009 in the Cochran Funeral Home Onalaska Chapel with Bro. Jerry Vincent officiating. Burial will be 1:00PM Saturday February 28, 2009 in the Elmwood Cemetery in Bowie, Texas. Visitation will be held Thursday February 26, 2009 from 6:00PM until 8:00PM also in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Onalaska.
Frankie was born March 20, 1925 in Wichita Fall, Tx. To parents Joe Franklin Byrd and Eula Mae Gholson Byrd. She married her husband A.J. Lamb on January 29, 1969 in Slayton, Texas. She is preceded in death by her parents, husband, stepsons Albert Lamb and Earl Lamb, sisters Katherine Riley, Lucille Richardson, Doris McElyea, and Annie Hopkins.
She is survived by her son Jimmy Ray Key Sr. and wife Velma of Livingston, daughter Shirley Dee Farrow and husband James of Livingston, son Tommy Wayne Key and wife Fleda of Baytown, step sons Bill Lamb of Floydada, Joe Lamb and wife Linda of Lubbock, Ed Lamb of Lubbock, and step daughter Wanda Lamb of Dallas. She is also survived by her 20 grandchildren, 27 great grandchildren, and 1 great great grandchild.
Serving as pallbearers will be Randy Key, Dennis Farrow, Bobby Key, Michael Key, Jimmy Key Jr., Dana Farrow, Danny Farrow, Clint Lamb, Shannon Lamb, and Shane Lamb. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Key Sr., Tommy Key, Joe Lamb, Bill Lamb, Ed Lamb, James Farrow, Paul Hopkins, Murl Lamb and Leslie Gholson.
