Obituary

Funeral services for Franklin Thomas Gingise, 74, will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 17, 2008, in the First Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. Sam Steele officiating. Burial will follow in Restland Memorial Park Cemetery.

Mr. Gingise died on Monday, July 14, in Memorial Hermann Northeast.

He was born on Jan. 30, 1934 in Ethel, W. Va., the son of George and Margaret Beres Gingise, both of whom preceded him in death.

Survivors include his wife, Sarag Gingise of Livingston; daughter and son-in-law, Kathi and Dayton Zimmermann of Kingwood; daughter, Karen Patterson of Kingwood; son, Thomas Gingise II of Kingwood; grandsons, G.T. Stewart of Lemoore, Calif., Georgie Stewart of Houston, Tommy Gingise III of Kingwood and Bobby Gingise of Kingwood; granddaughters, Sarah Patterson of Kingwood, Rosie Cheslak of Reno, Nev., Michelle Patterson of Kingwood and Ellie Gingise of Dallas; great-grandsons, Dallas Stewart of Orange, Logan Stewart of Torrance, Calif., Tanner Stewart of Torrance, Calif., Bo Madigan of Kingwood and Jackson Cheslak of Reno, Nev.; great-granddaughters, Taelor Cheslak of Reno, Nev., Maysen Cheslak of Reno, Nev. and Mikey Patterson of Kingwood; brother and sister-in-law, Emory and Bonnie Gingise of Logan, W. Va.; sister and brother-in-law, Sharon and Leo Mendez of Deerborn, Mich. and lifetime friends, Harold Cagigas of Logan, W. Va., Jim Montgomery of Huntsville, Ala. and Erman Altizer of Logan, W. Va.

Pallbearers will be G.T. Stewart, George Stewart, Leo Mendez, Mike Patterson, Larry Walters and Jim Montgomery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the First Presbyterian Church.
