Funeral services for Fred Hooper, 85, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Wednesday, December 11, 2019 at 1:00 p.m. in the Cochran Funeral Home Chapel in Livingston, Texas with Bro. Chris Borden officiating. Military honors will be provided by VFW Post #8568. Interment will follow in the Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 5:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 10, 2019 in the Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston, Texas.

Mr. Hooper was born July 24, 1934 in San Augustine, Texas to parents, Edell Katon Hooper and Anna (McCauley) Hooper, and passed away December 6, 2019 in Livingston, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Elizabeth Ann (Hance) Hooper; son, Fredrick Lee "Rick" Hooper; great-granddaughter, Everly Wood; and brothers and sisters, Kenton Hooper, James "Buddy" S. Hooper, Ava Grace Richardson, and Adelle Mittie Dwyer.

He is survived by his daughter, Gina Dillon and husband, Rex; son, Kent Hooper and wife, Linda; grandchildren, Chris Hooper, Josh Hooper, Lauren Wood, Meghan Rogers, Ryan Dillon, Matt Dillon, Ali Dillon, Grant Hooper, Chase Hooper, and Allie McClain; sister, Jeanette Hooper; and 8 great-grandchildren; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
