IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Fredrick Neal
Jarrell
June 28, 1951 – March 8, 2021
Graveside services for Fredrick Neal Jarrell, 69, formerly of Livingston, Texas, will be held Monday, March 15, 2021 at 3:00 p.m. in the Forest Hill Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Mr. Jarrell was born June 28, 1951 in Pasadena, Texas to parents, Edward Lee Jarrell and Mary Helen (Weston) Jarrell, and passed away March 8, 2021 in Dallas, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents.
He is survived by his sisters, Sharon Barnhill and husband, Mack of Conroe, and Donna Hilton and husband, Earl of Conroe; brothers, Russell Jarrell and wife, Lisa of Plano, and Lloyd Jarrell of Conroe; nieces, Shari Edwards and husband, Wade of Conroe, and Courtney Purvis and husband, Thomas of Livingston; nephews, Bryon Barnhill and wife, Elizabeth of Waco, Andrew Barnhill and wife, Stephanie of Conroe, Luke Holden of Onalaska, Cameron Jarrell of Plano, Connor Jarrell of Plano, and David Jarrell of Conroe; and lifelong friend, Wayne Munson; along with numerous other relatives and a host of friends.
Fred graduated from Livingston High School, and from there joined his father Ed Jarrell in the family business, Jarrell Service Station on W. Church Street. He and his father enjoyed serving their many customers of Livingston, and those driving through to other destinations. They always provided a full service experience even when self-service was the norm. The nieces and nephews loved to come to the station, have a Dr. Pepper, pick out their favorite snack, and of course jump on the service bell.
In retirement, Fred spent time with his brother, Russell, and their family in Plano, Texas. They explored a few of the local sites, JFK museum, South Fork Ranch, Fort Worth Stockyards, and made a couple of trips to Austin and Galveston. He enjoyed hanging out with his nephews as they watched many sporting events together. We will dearly miss our beloved Freddy.
Pallbearers: Russell Jarrell, Cameron Jarrell, Connor Jarrell, Lloyd Jarrell, David Jarrell and Wayne Munson
