Funeral services for Gabriel Lynn Celestine, 45, of Ft. Smith, Arkansas, will be held Wednesday, January 9, 2019 at 10:00 a.m. in the First Texas Indian Baptist Church in Livingston, Texas with Pastor Roy Jernigan officiating. Interment will follow in the Alabama-Coushatta Indian Reservation Cemetery in Livingston, Texas. Visitation will begin at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, January 8, 2019 in the First Texas Indian Baptist Church in Livingston, Texas.

Gabriel was born March 3, 1973 in Woodville, Texas, to parents, Nelson Celestine and Vivian (Johnson) Celestine, and passed away on January 4, 2019 in Ft. Smith, Arkansas. He is preceded in death by his parents; son, Felix Celestine; sister, Rhonda Celestine; paternal grandparents, Vincent and Margaret Celestine; and maternal grandmother, Ada Johnson.

He is survived by his wife, Susan Celestine of Ft. Smith, Arkansas; daughter, Abigail Celestine of Ft. Smith, Arkansas; sons, Malachi Celestine and Vincent Celestine both of Livingston, Texas; sisters, Ramona Celestine of Ft. Smith, Arkansas, and Valerie Robinson and husband, Curley of Livingston, Texas; brother, Bryant Celestine and wife, Dawn of Livingston, Texas; sister, Sylvia Johnson of Livingston, Texas; uncles, Herbert Johnson Sr. and wife, Deloris of Livingston, Texas, Austin Johnson and wife, Abilene of Livingston, Texas, and Sadler Celestine and wife, Carol of Alvin, Texas; aunts, Darlene Williams and Nancy Abbey both of Livingston, Texas; nieces, Hailey Celestine, Makenzi Robinson, and Marleigh Robinson; nephews, Connor Celestine and Joshua Celestine; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
