Funeral services for Gareth "Gary" Nason, 88, of Livingston, Texas, will be held Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 10:00 a.m. in the First United Methodist Church in Livingston, Texas with Rev. James Frazier and Rev. Steve Woody officiating. Interment will follow in the Lower Cemetery in Chireno, Texas.

Mr. Nason was born October 31, 1927 in Vanceboro, Maine to parents, Bruce Clinton Nason and Nina (Kinney) Nason, and passed away April 3, 2016 in Livingston, Texas. He proudly served his country in the United States Navy. He is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Ann Howse Nason; stepson, Gary Howse; and brother, Paul Nason who was killed in action in WWII.

He is survived by his wife, Sue Nason of Livingston, Texas; children, Paul Gareth Nason of Arlington, Texas, Kim L. Nason of Roanoake, Virginia; stepchildren, Pam Bugosh of West Farmington, Ohio, Michael Howse of Wyoming, Michigan, Christel Long of Nacogdoches, Texas, Kent Froehner of Haughton, Louisiana; grandchildren, Chelsea Harig, Sarah Harig, Kyle Harig, Gracie Doane, Abby Nason, Mack Nason, Chris Dozier, Heather Rohmfeld, Katie Rockefeller, Robert Howse, Annaleigh Howse, J.C. Howse, Kristen Froehner, Brandon Froehner, Hunter Sanders, Mason Froehner, Collin Long, Garrett Long; great grandchildren, Cailin, Kylie, and Miranda Rohmfeld; brother, Richard Nason; and sister, Enid "Teeny" Russell of Bath Maine; along with numerous other relatives and friends.
