Funeral services for Garland Earl Cantrell age 77 of Porter, Texas will be held Saturday December 11, 2010 in the chapel of Cochran Funeral Home in Livingston with Bro. Robert Durham officiating and interment to follow in the Big Sandy Cemetery in Big Sandy, Texas. Pallbearers will be Tommy Lowe, Dennis Laird, Donald Tullos, Fred Gates, Gary Folmar, Jimmy McDonald and Greg Asfour. Honorary Pallbearer will be Bro. Hershel Pillow.

He was born March 20, 1933 in Sabinal, Texas the son of Ruben Edgar Cantrell and Katie Graham Cantrell and passed away December 8, 2010 in Porter, Texas. He is preceded in death by his parents, his wife, Billie Dell Cantrell, Robert Cantrell, brother, Dobie Cantrell, brother and Betty Jo Brunson, sister.

He is survived by Penny Freuck, daughter of Porter, Brenda Vaugh, daughter of Porter, Donna Cantrell, daughter of Porter, Rhonda Buchanan, granddaughter of Porter, Michael & Kristina Harp, grandson and wife of Porter, Kassidy Buchanan, great granddaughter of Porter, Kayleigh Buchanan great granddaughter, Taylor Harp, great grandson of Porter, Dillon Harp, great grandson of Porter, Louella Jannise, sister of Raywood, Texas, Lola & Bobby Rawlinson, sister of Hardin, Texas and Edna & Charles Rice, sister and brother in law of Hardin, Texas and numerous other relatives also survive.
